B & W Results & WSC Preview

Intense Team Huddles
Congrats on an AMAZING first race ladies and congrats to TEAM BLUE! We are so proud of how you ran on Saturday and we can't wait to see you run against some real competition this Saturday!  Be sure to check out your times on the season results grid and your detailed splits under "race results".  We are so impressed with how you ran at Blue & White, but there is always room for improvement.  So lets set our goals high and get after it!

Congratualtions to our first GOLDEN SPIKE winners of the season!

Payton Lake: Congratulations on a great race and an almost 3:00 minute LIFETIME BEST! We are so proud of all the hard work you’ve put in this summer. Let’s stay injury free and see how fast you can go! Nice work Payton!

Lauren Uram: Last season was not easy, but all the work you’ve done to overcome your injury has paid off in a :47 second LIFETIME PR! You have been so diligent with your training and we could not be happier with what you accomplished today! Way to go Lauren, can’t wait to see what comes next!

WSC PREVIEW:
High School Boys - 9:00am
High School Girls - 9:45am
Middle School Boys - 10:30am
Middle School Girls - 11:00am

We will be meeting at the gazebo at 8:00am!  Be ready with your uniform (which will be handed out at practice), black sports bra, spikes/shoes, watch, water, and snacks!  Get up nice and early so you can have a good breakfast before heading to the gazebo.

After your race please plan on sticking around to cheer on the middle school teams and help us get the park cleaned up!  The middle school program is important to our success and we need to show them lots of support. It's a great thing that we get to host the conference meet on our home course and with that comes some responsibility, thanks in advance for your help!

REMINDERS:
- Potluck is THURSDAY at 6:00pm at  the Russell's House - 381 Lake Forest Drive
- Practice moves to the afternoon starting THURSDAY.  See you at 3:30pm!
- Be sure to check out the monthly calendar and plan accordingly!

Quote of the week:

Success isn't how far you got, but the distance you traveled from where you started.
