2015 STRONGSVILLE FLEET FEET INVITATIONAL
The Bay Girls XC team traveled to Strongsville last Saturday(September 26) for a taste of some big time competition at the Fleet Feet Invitational. 27 teams toed the line for the girls varsity race which featured 5 of the top 10 Division 1 teams in Ohio. The Rockets walked away with a 17th place finish with 476 points. Amanda Cusimano led Bay with her season best time of 19:21 good for 21st place. Olivia Bechtel finished 48th in 20:20 to finish as the teams number two runner followed by Aubrey Crabb(143) 21:58, Meredith Garrity(146) 22:00, Olivia Dodd(159) 22:21, Christina Kinkelaar(182) 23:25, Abby Coe(190) 24:10, and Ellie Frey(192) 24:19. Meredith had a huge personal record as she knocked off 47 seconds off her previous best and Olivia Dodd also had an all time best by 14 seconds.
In the Open, Bay finished in 16th place with 440 points. BOARDMAN SPARTAN INVITATIONAL RESULTS
The Bay girls XC team finished 18th at the Boardman Spartan Invitational on Saturday(Sept. 19). The girls scored 552 points in a race where 56 D2 girls teams toed the starting line. Amanda Cusimano ran a great race to finish in 3rd place in 19:30. Olivia Bechtel finshed as the Rocket's number 2 runner in 47th with a time of 21:08 followed by Aubrey Crabb(155) 22:57, Meredith Garrity(164) 23:10, Audrey Goebel(183) 23:36, Christina Kinkelaar(199) 23:49, Abby Coe(229) 24:25, Katheryn Baeppler(256) 24:33, London Phillips(294) 25:10, and Rose Mlakar(305) in 25:34.

The Bay girls finished in 9th place out of 29 teams at the 47th annual Tiffin Cross Country Carnival Saturday September 12 at Hedges-Boyer Park in Tiffin.
