Success in Hebron!

8th in the State!

Congratulations on an outstanding performance as a team at the State Meet!  It was the first trip for all of you, but you ran like pros!  Way to make your team, coaches, parents, school, and all of Northeast Ohio proud!  You set a goal and worked so hard every day to achieve it.  Thank you for your dedication to excellence and for letting us be part of your amazing journey!

Be sure to check your splits and progress throughout the race.  We were very impressed with how you all handled the race and worked through the competition.  Every single one of you improved your position from the 1st mile mark to the finish.  That is what cross country is all about.  You got in front of people and ran fast & smart which is how you edged out the 9th place team by 1 points and the 10th place team by 2 points  Perfect example of how every place counts!  Your finishes were amazing too, be sure to check them out HERE.

Maddie Britton set a new school record and earned a coveted spot on the State Meet podium!  Quite an accomplishment Maddie!  We are SO proud of you!  We also had several runners make new marks or move up on the Top 10 list, be sure to check it out!  Pretty impressive.

Thank you to everyone who drove all the way to Hebron to support us!  It meant so much to  see everyone in their Bay Blue cheering the girls all the way to the finish.  This was a tough week for so many in our community which made seeing your smiling painted faces even sweeter.
