The Bay girls XC team finished in second place in the Great Lakes Conference Championship Saturday(October 17) at James Day Nike Park in Parma. Final team scores:

Amanda Cusimano led the Rockets with a second place finish in 19:39. Olivia Bechtel finished in 6th with 20:15 followed by Aubrey Crabb(12) 21:21, Meredith Garrity(15) 21:36, Abby Christel(21) 22:12, Christina Kinkelaar(29) 22:51, and Olivia Dodd(30) 22:57 rounding out the varsity scorers.
Congratulations to Amanda and Olivia Bechtel for first team all-GLC awards and to Aubrey Crabb for second team all-GLC honors. Meredith Garrity just missed second team by one second!

Congratulations to Coach Babson and the boys team for winning the GLC Championship with 17 points. Justin Jennings was the overall boys champion.
The girls run next at the District at LCCC Saturday, October 24 at 1:00. This is the qualifier for the Tiffin Regional, with the top four teams advancing.
