Fostoria Champions!

Thank you Mrs. Sanson for the message at Westerly!

Congratulations on your 1st Place finish at the Fostoria Booster Invitational!  Quite an improvement over last years 5th place performance!  We could not be happier with the way you ran and stayed determined to get in front of people....its all about places places places!  We gave you a goal and you far exceeded our expectations by outscoring two very talented teams that were in front of you at the Tiffin Carnival.  Congratulations, you should be very happy with your performance and pumped up for WSC Conference Championships this weekend!

Top 7 Finishers:
Hanna Sterle, 19:43 (1st Place)
Alyse Arko, 20:21 (5th Place)
Hallie Bechtel, 20:38 (12th Place)
Megan Mohney, 20:53 (15th Place)
Andrea Hanna, 21:17 (23rd Place)
Maggie Harter, 21:59 (38th Place)
Maureen Piccirilli, 22:07 (41st Place)

Trophy Sleepover Winner:  Hallie Bechtel (we love the pics!)
Hallie ran a lifetime PR of 20:38 and was a critical part of our 1st place finish.  She had tough competition surrounding her the entire race and she stayed determined and most importantly maintained her position!  We are so proud of you Hallie, keep up the hard work and your time will keep dropping! You are one of the most consistent runners on the entire team, which is an amazing accomplishment as a freshman!  Congrats on a wonderful performance!

Golden Spike Winners:
Norah Hoke: This was Norah’s first race back after recovering from her injury and boy did she do a great job! Norah beat her previous time (which was Blue and White) by over 3 minutes!  Congrats Norah! Looking forward to seeing you run at Conference!

Hannabelle Sterle: Hanna ran like the racehorse she is and came in first place overall! She ran nice and relaxed the entire race and it paid off! Can’t wait to see what happens at conference, Hanna! If you run anything like you did last weekend you will be in great shape! 

Lindsay Stranahan: What a fantastic first race for Lindsay! It’s been awhile since Lindsay has competed, but she was determined and driven to not let that injury stop her from finishing strong! We are so glad you are back Linds! Can’t wait to see you on your home turf this weekend! 
