McDonough Results & Strongsville Info

Another job well done, ladies!  Both JV and Varsity took first place and Maggie Harter cruised to a victory in the Open Race!  We know you were worried about that hill in the second mile… but you definitely showed it who was boss!!  If you look at the times, you’ll notice they are not too far from your Tiffin times, which is truly amazing.  We are so proud of you!  We were 11^th on last week’s poll…. Where will we be this week?

Congrats to both of you for setting ANOTHER lifetime PR this week! J You both keep dropping time like crazy, it’s amazing.  Your hard work in practice is certainly paying off!  Can’t wait to see what this weekend holds for you!

Trophy Sleepover Winners:

MAGGIE HARTER: Congratulations to Maggie on WINNING the Open Race!  Maggie ran smart and tough the entire race, crushing the competition!  Way to go Maggie, you looked great in the lead!

HALLIE BECTHEL: Congratulations to Hallie on another stellar performance.  Hallie had a strong finish as always and was a HUGE part of our team win! Way to go Hallie, we are so proud of you!

Please be sure to check splits and season results grid!  Also, when analyzing your race remember that the hill is part of your 2nd mile split.

We are asking that you REMIND YOUR ATHLETES AND PARENTS TO STAY OUT OF THE WOODS DURING RACES! Due to the increased number of teams and participants, any additional traffic in the woods could potentially be hazardous! Failure to comply with this request will result in team(s) not being invited for future Cross Country Invitationals.
