| 1st Place in Maroon Division |
Golden Spike Winner: Briana Nosan- Briana had an amazing race, with a fantastic kick at the end! She also had another lifetime PR this week, dropping almost 2 minutes. This was extremely difficult on this course and with the heat and humidity. Fantastic job Briana!
Runner of the Week: Lydia Milligan- Lydia has been working so hard all summer and season long. We are so happy that she is apart of our team! Lydia’s hard work has paid off in every race that she has run… dropping time every week! Congrats, Lydia!

We have to hurry back so buses can take band to their event. So we will not be stopping for lunch. Please be sure to pack plenty of food and water for before and after the race! There are also pretty cool t-shirts every year so if you think you may want a shirt bring $$$.
Parents - On the meet website they mentioned to allow for time due to construction. The trip usually takes about one hour and 45 minutes, so you may want to give yourself a little more time to be sure you don't miss the race!
REMINDERS:
- Potluck tonight at the Bechtel's, thank you for hosting! Address for potluck's can be found in monthly team calendar!
- PLEASE remind your athlete to wear a watch at practice every day! We do planks for every runner without a watch... the girls are getting pretty strong abs!
- Eating and drinking in order to fuel your body for practice and a race is part of running. Please be sure to take care of your nutrition and water intake!
- In order to protect runners we require that all athletes are able to complete daily workouts in order to compete. If your daughter is injured or sick, please feel free to contact us regarding participation in the meets. Email: baygirlsxc@gmail.com
