Congratulations on a 2nd Place finish at Cloverleaf! As a team you moved up 3 places from last year and as individuals you had a chance to run against the Division II State Champion from last year! The only team that beat you was CVCA and they placed third at the State Meet last year.... so you are keeping good company! Keep up the hard work this week at practice and get ready to head to Gilmour (Hogwarts) on Friday afternoon. Details regarding Gilmour will be posted soon. Also be sure to check the Season Results Grid to see how you are progressing from week to week. We are very proud of all the hard work you put in, and can't wait to see how fast you can run in the upcoming weeks (with a little rest!). Get pumped!
Congratulations to Emma Tomczak, Megan Mohney, Valentina Rojas, and Andrea Hanna who all ran season PR's on a tough Cloverleaf course! Way to go ladies!

Trophy Sleepover Winner: Megan Mohney
Megan ran a season PR of 21:08 and looked SO STRONG the entire race. She worked well with her teammates and was a critical piece of our 2nd place finish! Megan we are so proud of how you ran on Saturday, it is amazing to see all of your hard work pay off. We are also proud of the leader in you! You lead by example and set the tone for your teammates. Not sure what we are going to do without you next year, so we'll just cherish every practice and meet we have left! Congratulations on a great race and a great season so far Megan!
Golden Spike Winner: Maureen Piccirilli
Maureen's goal for the day was to run fast enough to make it unto varsity for Gilmour...and that's exactly what she did! Not only did she run the 6th fastest time for our team, she also came dangerously close to her season PR (which she ran at Tiffin), this is a big deal because the Cloverleaf course is significantly slower than Tiffin so the fact that she almost ran the same time is amazing! Mreen we are so proud of your ability to set goals and constantly work to achieve them through not only your dedication, but your positive attitude! Keep it up and get ready to run faster than the Golden Snitch at Gilmour!
